Hurlingham; Argentina's historic capital of polo, home to the Hurlingham Open Polo Tournament (since 1893) and home to Villamil, founded there in 1935 by Cesar Villamil.

He built the family reputation by supplying the highest quality sticks to star players including Juan Carlos Harriot. Now in their third generation, the Villamil family are continuing the tradition of excellence and quality supplying top polo players with the best sticks in the game.

The Polo Times recently published a feature (June 2005) celebrating 70 years of Villamil.
